Politics with music: Macron to visit Gyumri with a friendship concert
French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Gyumri as part of his state visit to Armenia.
According to Armenpress, a grand concert dedicated to the friendship between Armenia and France and the deepening of cultural cooperation is scheduled for May 5 at Vardanants Square in Gyumri.
The concert program will feature Armenian and French thematic songs performed by renowned Armenian and French artists, accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.
During a meeting on April 30, the Armenian government decided to allocate 392 million 897.7 thousand drams (over $1 million) from the reserve fund for the organization of the concert.
