Turkish customs service confiscates drugs worth $65 million

The Turkish Customs Service seized drugs worth more than 3 billion liras (about $65 million).

As 1news.az reports citing TRT Haber, more than one ton of narcotic substances was discovered and seized as part of an operation to combat drug trafficking at the Ipsala border crossing point in Edirne province.

According to the TV channel, the prohibited substances were found in a cargo vehicle during an attempt to export them from the country.
