Azerbaijan women's basketball team reaches European Cup final

The decisive qualification matches for the 2026 European 3x3 Basketball Cup took place in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.

Azerbaijan's women's national team confidently defeated the Kosovo team in the semifinal with a score of 21:5.

In the final match, the Azerbaijani basketball players faced the winner of the Ireland-Cyprus pair and defeated Ireland with a score of 21:20.

Thanks to this victory, the team secured its place in the final stage of the 2026 European Cup, which will be held September 11–13 in Antwerp, Belgium.

Earlier, the Azerbaijan team defeated Cyprus (16:10) and Malta (15:14).
