Court in Armenia arrests candidate for deputy from Strong Armenia bloc

A court in Armenia arrested David Kazinyan, a candidate for deputy from the Strong Armenia bloc, RIA Novosti was told by the press secretary of the political force, Marianna Kagramanyan.

"David Kazinyan has been arrested," the agency's interlocutor said.

On Wednesday, Armenia's anti-corruption committee, after receiving permission from the Central Election Commission, announced the detention of Kazinyan. A petition was filed with the court for his arrest for two months.
