US oil industry representatives warned President Donald Trump's administration about a possible surge in oil prices in the coming weeks amid a reduction in raw material reserves.

According to the publication, the corresponding warnings in recent weeks were sent to representatives of the American administration, including members of the cabinet of ministers.

Oil industry concerns are related to estimates according to which the market is increasingly dependent on oil and petroleum products from storage facilities amid the cessation of supplies from the Middle East.

According to the head of one of the oil companies, raw material reserves are already at a dangerously low level. Politico sources do not rule out that price growth could occur already in the second half of June.

At the same time, a White House representative told the publication that the information from his sources does not correspond to reality.
